reMarkable Paper Pro Move aims to make taking notes easier while on the go
As a previous owner of a reMarkable 2 tablet, I was looking forward to what was announced on Sept 3rd. However, it's not for me.
| Comparison | Paper Pro | Paper Pro Move | reMarkable 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Battery Life | Up to 2 weeks | Up to 2 weeks | Up to 2 weeks |
| Display | Color | Color | Grayscale |
| Reading Light | Yes | Yes | No |
While I loved owning and using reMarkable 2, I was constantly put off by the lack of colors. I didn't make the jump to the Paper Pro yet due to distracting screen refresh flashes of the device as well as yellow tinting and ghosting, confirmed with the demo unit I've seen at a retailer in Munich:

Fair point though: reMarkable gives you a 100 days period to return your device free of charge, if you don't like it. I can recommend the reMarkable 2, if you don't necessarily need colors.
